The Phonetik Alphabet Kalkulator

The ancient Chaldean (Aramaic) alphabet is the first Western alpha-numeric alphabet we have a record of that indicates a relationship between number and sound. It is this linkage that may be the foundation for numerology, a research project still underway.

It has been my theory for a few years now, that the vibrational frequencies of the letters in our languages are related to certain numbers. This has not been accurately accounted for within the rebuilt Pythagorean alphabet, nor in the current version of the Chaldean alphabet. In the process of researching this theory, I discovered the work of Leeya Thompson and her published book, The Wisdom of Sound and Number, Phonetic Chaldean Numerology. She has graciously agreed to work with me on developing this theory. I am now adding my own research to that of Leeya’s and the scholars with whom she worked in writing her book.

The two Phonetik Alphabet Kalkulator software packages that I am authoring, are for the purpose of assisting myself and others who wish to benefit from this research. In time we shall have an alphabet at least as accurate as the original Chaldean alpha-numeric alphabet created at least six thousand years ago. UPDATE - Friday the 13th! Woo hoo! :-D Progress in translating the larger of the 2 programs from the old Liberty Basic language to the new Visual Basic.Net 2008 Express is going slowly, but very well. :-) There'll be progressional pics posted here with the next few days to give y'all a minor update on the progress. I'm also completely open to user input as to the interface and how users would like to see it. :-) Another idea that I'm considering is giving the users the ability to EDIT the values of letters and saving their customized alphabet for usage. (With the original included alphabet being the default.) The Masculinity / Femininity aspect has been added to the new version of the software as well.
